The application of molybdenum on axle fitting seats, through a process of spray welding provides, a higher surface hardness and resistance to scratches, reducing the possibility for axle damages during the fitting and unfitting process.
The molybdenum coating process adopted by Lucchini RS is qualified by DB according to EN 14918 – BN 918260
